  • Determination of parameters of precision stamping press machine

    After determining the type of precision punching machine, the specifications of the press should be determined according to the size of the stamping part, the size of the stamping part and the size of the die, and the following main technical parameters should be considered in general.

    • Determination of nominal pressure

      Nominal pressure (rated pressure) refers to the maximum action allowed on the slide at a certain distance from the lower dead center, or at a specific angle instantaneously.    

      Nominal pressure is an important technical parameter of precision presses. In use, for simplicity, for stamping processes with a small force stroke (such as punching, falling material, etc.), a press with a nominal pressure greater than the sum of the required process forces for stamping can be used directly. For stamping processes with larger force stroke (such as deep drawing, deep bending, etc.), precision stamping should be selected according to the condition that the sum of process force required for stamping is less than or equal to 50% to 60% of the nominal pressure of the press.
